Debate without borders

A debate is a structured argument or a discussion that involves opposing viewpoints. A motion is given for two sides to logically argue for and against it. The arguments presented in a debate are different than the ones we might have with our families and friends. It is followed by a set of rules and procedures that govern the debate. Each person has different positions and roles to fulfill, additionally, he/she is allocated a time they are allowed to speak for and any interjections are carefully controlled. Debaters are obliged to play as a team and be careful not to contradict their side’s arguments.
