Introduction
APT Leadership Development Program envisions building the leadership capabilities of members of its debate clubs and Afghan university students. APT believes that by learning the skills young men and women in Afghanistan would be able to identify ways to advocate for human rights, free and democratic societies and present recommendations on how to overcome the current situation. The project activities also facilitate a bridge for participants to connect with each other from different provinces with a diverse background in order to put forward their perspectives in the analysis of the situation in Afghanistan and work together as a force for change. The program is designed for one and half-month period, which includes ten sessions, ninety minutes each. The topics vary from one cycle to another based on the program management team evaluation and suggestions we receive from our participants.
Program Objective
The objective of the leadership program is to increase the capacity of our debate club members and students in order to be future leaders of the country who are open-minded and critical thinkers with the true qualities of perfect leaders.
