On August 6, 2021, APT organized a one-day local debate tournament hosting around 140 youth from different universities in Kabul. The tournament enabled university students to debate and offered arguments about the challenges in the way of peace, youth, and women’s rights in the country. The debaters representing different positions in the tournament were from Tabesh, Kabul, AUAF, Kabul Polytechnic, Shaheed Rabani, and Kardan Universities. The team from AUAF (Miss Nekhat Frogh Sadeq and Mr. Hosai Ayoubi) secured the championship position of the tournament and Mr. Omid Salehi achieved the best speaker’s award.

On November 4, 2021, APT organized a debate round in Samangan province between debaters from Samangan and Shomal Universities. A total of 12 debaters participated in the online debate competition.

The topic of the debates mainly focused on participation of youth in demanding their basic rights from the new regime. After four rounds of debate, Mr. Rafi Jamalbig and Ms. Sediqa Jafaryan from Shomal University were selected the champions and Ms. Swita was selected as the best speaker.

On December 18, 2021, APT organized a debate round in Balkh province between debaters from Balkh and Nokhbagan University for a day. There were 14 debaters from two universities who competed with each other in four rounds.

The topic of the debates mainly focused on the idea that the international community should recognize the current regime in the country. After four rounds of debate, Ms. Farida Aman and Ms. Sughra Hayati from Nokhbagan University were selected the champions and Mr. Imran Rahman was selected as the best speaker.
