During the past quarter, APT organized 6 coaching sessions for 25 young women from our debate clubs and students from different universities of different provinces of Afghanistan. The objective
of this program was to build critical thinking skills and reflective writing skills of the participants, At the end of the program, students will report human rights realities from the ground for international awareness, provide policy recommendation on how the international community can help local population in upholding human rights. After attending the sessions students divided into 4 groups, write research papers, and shared their observation from the current situation on the ground. Each group consist of six participant and write

  • Girl’s education under the Taliban regime: what are the psychological impacts of school closure on girls?
  • Media in Afghanistan: is it possible to have a free and functioning press under the Taliban?
  • Taliban Amnesty: what does amnesty mean for human rights in Afghanistan?
  • Humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan: what is the status of living conditions for the people of Afghanistan in 2022?
  • Global attention to Afghanistan: how do you evaluate international attention to Afghanistan in the next 1-2 years?

These research papers will be published through a booklet and will be shared with a wider audience.
