Afghans for Progressive Thinking (APT) empowers Afghan women whose education has been disrupted by Taliban restrictions. Through our Mentorship for Higher Education program, we have helped dozens of young women secure university admissions abroad—including full scholarships.
In our first cycle, 23 mentees received 36 offers. Now, 27 women from across Afghanistan are pursuing fields like medicine, business, engineering, and international relations—with support from a global network of mentors in the USA, Canada, India, Germany, and beyond. This journey builds confidence, resilience, and leadership for life beyond the classroom
Our program empowers Afghan women to pursue higher education despite restrictions. Through personalized mentorship, we help them find the right universities and scholarships, prepare for English exams, and navigate application requirements. By connecting them with global networks, we open doors to academic and professional opportunities that shape their future.
