As part of its continued commitment to supporting young people, especially women and girls, APT is pleased to launch a new initiative titled: Through Their Pens: Voices and Stories of Afghan Women and Girls.
This program focuses on the power of writing and storytelling as tools for advocacy. It aims to promote human rights, particularly women’s rights, by shedding light on the ongoing violations in Afghanistan. Through this initiative, we seek to bring authentic voices from the ground to the global stage and empower Afghan women to advocate for change using the power of their own words.
Running from October to December 2025, the program offers tailored training sessions for women and girls in Afghanistan. At the end of the program, participants will produce written pieces that will be developed into policy briefs, elevating their voices and insights to inform international discourse and action.
