On the 12th of December, Aziza Akrami attended the 3rd HearUs Summit, “Catalyzing a political space and accountability for Afghan women” in Spain. During the whole event and the panel, Aziza emphasized the pivotal role of youth and the need for their inclusion in decision-making regarding the future of Afghanistan.
This high-level summit was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain and Women for Afghanistan (WFA). Aziza had the opportunity to meet with Richard Bennett, UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, Fawzia Kofi, a prominent political figure, and Isabelle Rome, Ambassador for Human Rights of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
