In June 2025, APT launched a new debate, writing, and advocacy programs, bringing together 35 young men and women from across Afghanistan. Over the course of three months, participants engaged in workshops, trainings, and exhibition debates, building skills in communication, research, and leadership while critically engaging with the current situation and proposing solutions through new and compelling arguments.
The program wrapped up on August 30, with participants crafting policy briefs on key issues such as education, gender equity, immigration, and mental health. These narratives shed light on the current situation and offer recommendations to the international community to support women and girls in their advocacy for change and protection of their rights. These briefs will be published to share their recommendations with policymakers and civil society leaders.
